Ending of a Two Decade Story(?)

  For this post I am talking about the fighting game Tekken which came out in 1994 and has had fairly constant releases since then. Recently, Tekken 7 was announced and it will finalize the main family story the game revolves around. This is fairly big considering it is one of the few fighting games that remained popular for this long. The others which have been popular are Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter.  While the game series is likely to continue because of its being a major hit, no pun intended, with the main story ending it will be interesting to see how they keep producing more. 
      The main reason this is of particular interest to me, and others, is Tekken may have been that fighting game they first played. I can remember playing it against my brother and dad fairly often. So the fact that the main story is ending is an odd feeling considering it's been something that I've played for most of my life, and it's been around before I was born.
