Get-togethers with family members and friends will result in fine times and great memories this Memorial Day weekend. Kids are counting down the days until summer, while grateful for this one last holiday. I urge you to enjoy yourselves, but also take a few minutes to remember the meaning of the holiday.
Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, was a result of the Civil War. It is now meant to honor America's heroes--the men and women who have given the ultimate gift to their country. Heroes, such as "Cousin Bill Hein," had limited time to enjoy their families. Thanks to those such as Hein, you get to relish yours. Take a moment to honor America's heroes this Memorial Day weekend.
